Be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You'll contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration.

Google requires a supply chain to deliver the compute and networking equipment for its ever-expanding global data centers. Our team is made up of engineers and supply chain professionals who design, build and manage that supply chain. The focus is not just on quality, cost and delivery but how to manufacture and sustain Google's confidential and proprietary internal computer hardware in the most efficient way.

  • Drive Product NPI, factory readiness, and line qualifications for site transfers and multi-sourcing, while providing feedback on Design for Excellence (DFx) and yield issues.
  • Manage production-released products through End of Life (EOL), overseeing assembly yields, process controls, automation, and cost-reduction efforts.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to reduce cycle times and costs while increasing yield, capacity, and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Monitor assembly processes to identify issues, leading root cause investigations and driving corrective actions with suppliers to resolve production constraints.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in manufacturing focused on Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), System Integration, and New Product Introduction (NPI) process development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10 years of experience in SMT, PCBA, System Integration, and NPI process development.
  • Experience in setting up Statistical Process Contro (SPC), Potential Capability (CP)/Actual Performance (CPK) monitoring, statistical analysis tools, and manufacturing inspection procedures.
  • Experience with CAD tools including Valor, AutoCAD, Cadence Allegro, and Gerber.
  • Experience collaborating with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)/Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) with the ability to drive partnerships bilingually.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in ambiguous environments with clear, directive communication.
