What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:
•Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
•Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems
•Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development and/or troubleshooting, with a BE or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Strong hands-on coding skills in C/C++ (or the ability to read and understand large, complex C/C++ codebases).
- Solid understanding of Operating System concepts, Data Structures, and system-level programming; experience with embedded, distributed, or fault-tolerant systems is a plus.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex issues involving Hardware, Firmware, and system software integration.
- Self-driven learner with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to report progress and drive change.
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge of Dell Enterprise Storage product architecture, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
General understanding and practical application of Agile software engineering processes.
