About the team and the role:

eBay's “Authenticity Guarantee” is a service designed to help buyers shop with confidence. Our internal and third-party authenticators physically inspect all eligible items before they are shipped to buyers. Buyers browse and shop eBay's listings with the "Authenticity Guarantee" badge. After buying an eligible item, the seller ships the item directly to a team of qualified, professional authenticators. The Authentication Tech team focuses on the end-to-end tech experience for our warehouse operators and authenticators. The aim is to build scalable, operationally efficient, and innovative tools to empower our teams. As a Product Manager on the Authenticity Guarantee team, you will be responsible for delivering on the vision of the Authenticity Guarantee program by enhancing our eBay-built platform used in all of our authentication facilities. This warehouse tool tracks items end-to-end as they enter our facilities, receive authentication, and ship out of our facilities to buyers; it provides reporting and inventory tracking capabilities needed for the operation as well.  

Key responsibilities will include building, prioritizing and launching new features to support warehouse operations, improve productivity, and partnering with internal and third-party team members to launch new initiatives.

What you will accomplish:

  • Own and deliver new feature enhancements to our authentication technology platform

  • Work with customers, internal partners, engineering, and design to define functionality and requirements

  • “Be the customer” and develop a deep understanding of the Authenticity Guarantee process and customer experience. Understand the warehouse operation and prioritize enhancements to save time, cost, and improve operational efficiency

  • Dive "into the weeds" and work through key details with engineers and designers

  • Have a platform thinking attitude about how to build out new features to accomplish goals for a variety of business needs

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally with a focus on B2B tools or Warehouse Management Systems

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Human Computer Interaction, Operations, or Design preferred

  • Data analysis experience and skill (SQL, Tableau, Advanced Excel)

  • Experience in ecommerce, fulfillment, or distribution

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead meetings and drive agenda with both internal team members and external collaborators

  • Strong troubleshooting / problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects, issues, and tasks simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C$110,400 - C$147,400

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
