As a Power Delivery & System Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in the validation of Intel’s next‑generation high‑performance CPUs and system‑level interconnected interfaces. This position is responsible for ensuring that complex, cutting‑edge processor architectures meet stringent power, performance, and reliability requirements before they reach customers.

You will work cross‑functionally with architecture, design, and engineering teams to identify, develop, and execute worst‑case stress validation scenarios at the system level. Your contributions will directly impact product readiness and help ensure robust behavior under real‑world workloads and extreme operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform system‑level validation on Intel’s next‑generation high‑performance CPUs and interconnected subsystems.
  • Perform power delivery validation for complex systems, including CPUs, SoCs, and platform components.
  • Identify, model, and implement worst‑case stress scenarios to thoroughly exercise CPU power, performance, and reliability boundaries.
  • Develop and execute validation strategies, test plans, and stress workloads targeted at exposing system integration issues.
  • Analyze system behavior under extreme conditions to root‑cause defects and contribute to design or firmware fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary engineering teams (architecture, silicon design, firmware, power management) to ensure comprehensive validation coverage.
  • Utilize system‑level debug tools, performance analyzers, and power measurement instrumentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement of validation methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.  Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1 year of experience in:
    • Server based technologies, Machine Learning, Microprocessor, CPU, or FPGA validation, PCIe, DRAM, I2C, SMBus.
    • Computer Architecture, CPU micro-architecture and Operating Systems (e.g. Linux).
    • Python scripting and/or Object-Oriented Programing (e.g. C/C++) in a test environment.
    • Python, C, C++, and C# and plan, design, write, and debug code to solve business problems including requirements gathering, software development, debug, and maintenance of the software
  • Advance English level.
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Root cause bug and other issues raised with customers including defining next steps and knowledge about common tools used in debugging.
  • Expertise in programming data structures and embedded firmware programming in a way that engages the audience.  
  • Computer systems performance acknowledges
