Strategy and Operations Lead, Platforms and Devices
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to drive recommendations to closure through implementation of commercial initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop key enablers that drive commercial strategy, include advanced performance measurement frameworks, predictive and scenario planning tools, and playbooks focused on institutionalizing and scaling best practices.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, product strategy, insights and analytics, product planning, finance, central strategy, sales, and sales operations teams.
- Drive business performance assessments and reviews, own the balanced analysis plan and narrative, conduct and orchestrate deep-dives to diagnose business performance issues.
- Develop and maintain sales and user-based models to forecast multi-year business trajectories, conduct scenario analysis, and inform key metric goals.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory role.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA.
- 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
- 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
