Job Description: 

Contributes to the planning, implementation, and maintenance of building infrastructure and systems. Assists with analyzing operational processes, energy use, and safety compliance, while supporting facility expansion efforts and layout design activities. Collaborates with engineering teams to enhance efficiency and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, develops skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands‑on experience and project work that supports Intel’s business goals in a collaborative environment. Internships are on‑site.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Controls, Microelectronics, Renewable Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Water/Purification Engineering, or another closely related technical or STEM discipline.
  • Has not previously participated in an Intel internship through the MECOP program (requirement applies only to Senior-level students).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be proficient in Maximo, CDOCs, and the ILM QEF portal, with a solid working understanding of common facilities equipment such as pumps, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, dryers, fans, motors, filters, strainers, heat exchangers, and coils.
  • Experience in facilities operations or maintenance including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems is expected.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $62,400.00-84,300.00 USD (Hourly Role)The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Our standard internship rates are based on your degree, location, and the job role. Work Model for this Role
