Meta seeks a highly motivated team player to join our North American Regulatory Enforcement legal team. You will work with a talented and supportive team to help lead on high-profile, precedent-setting regulatory inquiries, investigations, engagements, and initiatives with enforcement authorities at the Federal, State and local levels on issues involving our products, including data privacy, youth ads, payments, content, and platform integrity matters. As part of the role, they will partner with internal stakeholders from across the company to mitigate risk. You will have demonstrated sound judgment, a strong work ethic, communication and relationship-building skills, and an interest in learning about new technologies and areas of law. You should have experience with creative problem solving, thinking critically about risk mitigation, and driving remediation. Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategy for managing and resolving regulatory inquiries and investigations Conduct detailed internal investigations in connection with regulatory inquiries and investigations Represent the company in connection with regulatory inquiries and disputes, including supervision of outside counsel Collaborate with product, public policy and communications teams to develop and implement regulatory and policy strategy on important and breaking issues

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution Active and in good standing bar license in at least one U.S. state or equivalent foreign bar license. Where the jurisdiction of licensure differs from the location in which the role is based, the ability to promptly obtain permission to practice law for Meta in that location 8+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, including law firm, in-house, or government experience Experience with regulatory investigations Experience working with internet and technology companies Experience advising business clients on product issues or developing areas of the law

Compensation: $202,000/year to $274,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
