As a SoC FV Functional Validation Intern, you will contribute to the functional validation of silicon products, supporting efforts that ensure product readiness, reliability, and quality. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to debug silicon issues, assess validation coverage, and help build the infrastructure required to validate cutting‑edge SoC technologies.
This internship provides hands‑on experience and an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. You will develop technical skills, explore future career paths, and contribute to impactful projects that support Intel’s business goals within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the functional validation of silicon products, ensuring features operate as intended across various use cases.
- Assist in debugging and root‑cause analysis for silicon, firmware, and system-level issues.
- Support the evaluation and improvement of validation coverage metrics to help ensure product quality and readiness.
- Participate in test automation, including script development, test execution, and results analysis.
- Assist with data analysis to extract insights from validation metrics and test results.
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of validation infrastructure, tools, and test environments used across validation teams.
- Learn and apply relevant validation methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to support validation objectives and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Bachelor's degree in Bachelor's student in Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar related technical field.
- Advance English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of Linux Operating Systems
- Python or C or C+ programing knowledge
- Experience developing code for embedded systems is a plus
- Knowledgeable of SoC/PC architecture
