User Signals Solutions Engineer, Google Gemini

As a User Signals Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the critical bridge between technical execution and business strategy for the gTech Users and Products (gUP) Gemini app, labs, and research products. You won't just build code, you will act as a primary technical resource for a hybrid team of both technical and non-technical talent. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of solutions from dashboards to complex workflow optimizations by translating business requirements into technical implementations. You will work intimately with support, product, data science, and vendor operations, you will balance business logic with engineering best practices to deliver tools that empower stakeholders and advocate for a advanced user experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Verify shipping tools or applications that leverage Machine Learning or generative AI.
- Design and develop scalable, distributed systems on cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
- Navigate enterprise compliance, privacy, or security reviews as part of the software development lifecycle.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
- 3 years of experience coding with Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience taking ownership of technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional partners, including non-technical business teams, to translate requirements into impactful technical solutions.
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
