We are seeking a Product Designer who can move fluidly between the worlds of product and marketing to bring the two closer together. This person will partner with creative teams, marketers, and product teams to create emotive brand experiences in our apps that deliver additive value for people, while deepening people’s relationship with our company.

Responsibilities

Create product systems, behaviors and design solutions on behalf of brand with a high level of craft Drive product strategy to find opportunities within our products to move our marketing goals forward Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our nearly 3 billion users Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant for our supported platforms Design new experiences that inspire and influence the work of others across Meta Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas Lead the user experience of a product from conception to launch in collaboration with art directors, copywriters, producers, product marketers, researchers, product managers, and engineers

Qualifications

6+ years experience in designing valuable, user-focused and well-crafted products Demonstrated experience in marketing, branding and design Portfolio features user-friendly product design, web design and branding work Interaction design skills defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale Experience using prototyping skills to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work Visual design skills with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function 8+ years of experience in designing valuable, user-focused and well-crafted products Detailed knowledge of the family of Meta’s platforms and portfolio of products Proficient using AI tooling to improve efficiency of the design process

Compensation: $127,000/year to $182,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
