Senior Leader, ProServe AI/GenAI/Agentic Specialists, Healthcare and Life Sciences
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced technology leader to build our Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Agentic AI Specialist Team. This is a team of ProServe Cloud Architects (PCAs) with expertise at the intersection of HCLS domains (e.g. Research, Clinical Development, Commercial, Manufacturing, Enterprise IT) and AI, GenAI and Agentic AI. In this position, you'll counsel senior HCLS executives on designing AI transformation programs that deliver business outcomes. You'll develop perspectives on how AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI unlock business value, creating repeatable partnership models and tools that scale across industry customers.
You'll collaborate with colleagues in the ProServe HCLS team, GenAI Innovation Center, and external Partners, working backwards from customer outcomes to design fit-for-purpose solutions and programs.
This role requires expertise in AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI within HCLS, paired with experience in business development or professional services. You think big, innovate, focus on customer objectives, execute at high standards, and maintain continuous curiosity.
Key job responsibilities
· Building and leading a team that continually maintains leading-edge expertise in AI, GenAI and Agentic AI transformation in HCLS
· Counseling HCLS executive customers to explore the art of the possible with AI and to push the frontiers of innovation to achieve breakthrough outcomes
· Collaborating with internal teams, including GenAI Innovation Center, Applied AI team, and the HCLS Sales team to innovate AWS solutions, services, accelerators, and demos to meet evolving customer needs
· Designing complex, scalable, and secure AWS AI, GenAI and Agentic AI solutions to achieve customer business outcomes (CBOs)
· Driving large complex opportunities, either personally or through your team, from ideation, through vision building and scoping, all the way to closure and participate in the delivery
· Acting as a thought leader and trusted advisor to customers and internal colleagues on industry AI, GenAI, Agentic AI trends and emerging technologies

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- 7+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
- 3+ years of team leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years Professional services business development and/or technology sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, GenAI Developer Professional) preferred
- Deep understanding of AWS services, including Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker, Kiro, and compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as part of pre-sales motion
- Experience shaping large, complex AI, GenAI and Agentic AI transformation programs in HCLS

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
