As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Technical Program Managers, responsible for data management, analytics, reporting, KPIs and insights to inform Google Global Networking (GGI) business decisions.
  • Reach across partner organizations to establish effective cross-organization reporting, analysis, planning and partnerships that address strategic customer user journeys.
  • Lead analysis to detect patterns and generate insights to inform business strategy decisions. Analyze and improve business processes and quality across GGI and partner organizations. Propose and develop forward-looking innovative business operations solutions and tools.
  • Develop and implement tooling that optimizes business insights. Lead cross-organization strategic roadmap development sessions and insights-driven business reviews.
  • Propose programs to implement strategy recommendations in support of data insights.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 7 years of experience strategy and operations or business intelligence management, or similar.
  • 5 years of experience in leadership role with direct reports.
  • Experience with data analysis, data transformation, SQL, BigQuery, as well as data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Certification in Six Sigma.
  • Experience in forecasting models and analytics tools.
  • Ability to map processes with system-driven data and measure the results for performance reviews.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
