Senior Production and Planning Manager, Custom Silicon Operations

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

- Develop global supply chain strategies for mass production (ramp-up, sustaining, ramp-down), master the supply plan, manage work-in-progress flow, and enhance inventory from foundry to finished goods.
- Lead fulfillment execution, manage Purchase Orders, payments. Oversee production control functions (dispatching, expediting), and ensure compliance for inventory and global supply logistics.
- Report supply vs. demand, shortages, and risks to executive leadership, drive data integrity and establish dashboards for alerting, maintaining a single source of truth for all supply deliverables.
- Lead and develop a team, drive all people management from recruiting to mentorship, nurture an accountable culture, and resolve conflicts to ensure an enhanced supply.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to orchestrate and align material readiness for mass production, develop resolutions for any supply gaps.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program or project management.
- 10 years of experience in managing SoC or leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing, consumer hardware supply chain, with leadership experience.
- 7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with direct reports and cross-functional teams.
Experience of leading initiatives that improve organizational health and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of foundry and OSAT suppliers and ecosystem with a focus on Mobile SoCs or consumer product applications.
- Understanding of mobile SoC development flows and manufacturing processes for Foundry, Die Prep, Assembly, and Test.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams (Silicon/Hardware) and business operations, and to manage suppliers.
- Ability to unite various teams toward common goals and resolve conflict in a matrixed global organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
