Program Manager II, Materials Management, Cloud Supply Chain

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will lead the management of supply chain delivery activities for data center infrastructure components, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and seamless Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) product delivery.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project teams and suppliers to ensure on-time equipment delivery while proactively expediting orders and mitigating logistical risks.
- Manage stage-gate deliverables and oversee project-level change management to maintain schedule integrity. Develop and implement standardized processes for contractors to use during the formal approval and acceptance of on-site shipments.
- Report status updates and manage escalations for all stakeholders at both the project and program levels.
- Monitor execution Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against committed Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and ensure Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) scope alignment, including the review of redacted Purchase Order (PO) documentation and delivery logistics. Oversee the transfer of responsibility between vendors and sites, identifying and closing potential scope gaps.
- Drive risk identification and mitigation activities with the General Contractor (GC), focusing on ownership transfer, equipment protection plans, and loose-ship material management.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in material management and supply chain delivery.
- Experience in risk identification and mitigation.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
