The Role and Impact We are seeking a motivated Software Applications Engineering Undergraduate Intern to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within an agile environment to assist in design, develop, and test software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Utilize your programming skills to contribute to desktop application development using C#, .Net, and other programming languages.
  • Contribute to automating workflows and enhancing software functionality through scripting initiatives.
  • Help to solve technical challenges by applying strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, sharing ideas and insights to drive project success.
  • Assist in the management , setup and configuration of hardware test and development systems.
  • Learns and applies knowledge and build skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.  Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. -
  • 3 months of experience in:
    • Programming languages such as C# and .Net. or scripting for automating processes.
    • Desktop application programming.
    • Address problems through code.
  • Advance English level.
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of additional programming languages or tools.
  • Experience participating in team-based projects.

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
