Job Description: 

The Data, AI, and Reporting Center of Excellence (DARC) is a team of financial analysts and business intelligence experts who partner closely with Intel IT to create and maintain the Finance Analytics Environment (FAE). The FAE is a series of tabular data models and Power BI reports built on Intel's financial systems of record. The FAE allows Intel Finance and other business partners to securely and easily access critical financial data for reporting and analytics.

As a DARC Data and Reporting Intern, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Supporting the business intelligence domain and learning from experienced team members.
  • Assisting with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes under supervision.
  • Contributing to technical and business documentation for data structures and processes.
  • Supporting business analysis and requirements gathering activities- Assisting in building dashboards and performing testing and validation per established processes.
  • Learning about business intelligence governance, privacy, and security frameworks.
  • Supporting the maintenance of BI interfaces, data visualization, and reporting tools

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. This position is not eligible for Intel's immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Sales, Marketing, Data Science or related field.
  • Completed coursework in finance, statistics, or data analysis.
  • Proficient with Excel and data manipulation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools through coursework or projects.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and reporting.
  • Experience with PowerQuery, DAX, Python, or other programming languages- Familiarity with database concepts.
  • Previous internship experience in finance, analytics, or technology.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in business intelligence, data science, or financial analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $56,100.00-75,800.00 USD (Hourly Role)The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Our standard internship rates are based on your degree, location, and the job role. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation range for your preferred location and job role during the hiring process.

Work Model for this Role
