About the team and the role:
The Treasury International team supports eBay’s global marketplace by managing liquidity across EMEA and APAC to meet daily operating needs and enable longer-term growth. This role sits within eBay Treasury and works closely with regional subsidiaries, banks, and cross-functional partners including Finance and Managed Payments. You will contribute to core cash management operations while building expertise in treasury processes within a global, purpose-driven organization that values learning, collaboration, and an inclusive work environment.
What you will accomplish:
Ensure daily liquidity across EMEA and APAC by running cash position and short-term cash flow forecasts for regional subsidiaries and the Treasury Center.
Execute cash movements, including intercompany transfers, netting, funding requests, and short-term deposits, while partnering with banks to resolve issues efficiently.
Support accurate and timely treasury settlements covering FX, money market instruments, and deposits.
Provide clear visibility into cash, interest income, and counterparty risk through regular reporting and analysis.
Strengthen cash management controls by supporting audits, SOX compliance, and adherence to treasury policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal partners, including Managed Payments and corporate teams, on banking, liquidity, and system-related initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement by helping document, streamline, and implement treasury processes and system enhancements.
What you will bring:
3–5 years of experience in treasury, finance, banking or accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Fluency in English.
Experience with treasury management systems, ideally Quantum, and familiarity with SAP S4Hana and reporting tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and explain financial data.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, global environment across different time zones.
Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
