The Production program is an Site Reliability initiative with the mission to meaningfully reduce the amount of time a typical Google engineer spends on basic service management in production.

Responsibilities

Build software that automates production rollouts for service owners at Google and brings safety, stability and trust in the process.
Focus on supporting the core infrastructure components, driving reliability and performance improvements.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
Write product or systems of development code

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in C++, Python or Go, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
