As a Google Account Executive, you will help provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. Google has become a leader in this space because we have developed products and services for marketers and consumers. The primary responsibility of the Account Executive is to drive and grow new business with Google’s advertisers. You will manage C-level and executive business relationships to ensure that both end-client and agency needs and requirements are met. This will require you to serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams (local sales teams, Google Marketing Platforms, Cloud, Product, etc.) to provide them with the portfolio of solutions and options. This is a client-facing role requiring industry expertise and ability to work under ambiguity with autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to drive growth with customers. Build and grow long-term C-level relationships with regional client decision makers and their agency counterparts, to build and carry out digital strategies and enhance their advertising expenditures.
  • Develop and manage global/regional Joint Business Plans across Google products and services, countries, and channels. Work with local Account Executives and team members.
  • Drive initiatives with creative agency partners to infuse their development process with Google data/tools/resources. Build the foundation for adopting audience solutions, formats, and measurement practices.
  • Generate business plans to define business strategies, and support clients with advertising programs, and drive e-commerce business.
  • Develop solutions for clients to enahnce their advertising expenditures and improve the use of Google products (Search, Video, Display, Mobile), including innovation opportunities with product teams.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, media and creative agencies, and clients.
  • Knowledge of and established relationships within the advertising industry and the relevant industry vertical.
  • Knowledge of traditional as well as contemporary or online marketing strategy.
  • Knowledge of APAC Advertising landscape.
  • Knowledge of North Asia landscape.
  • Understanding of the industry's issues, a passion for its growth, and a commitment to advance Google's strategies within the marketplace.
