Responsibilities

  • Define, review and refine the methodology of design implementation for implementation within Google Silicon platform. Understand the bottlenecks and gaps in the current design methodology and recommend solutions to fix these gaps.
  • Work with the Computer Aided Design (CAD) team to review the implementation of these methodology initiatives. Leverage the industry practices for closing gaps and improving execution efficiencies.
  • Work with the design team to review results of Quality Control (QC) runs and review for completeness and correctness.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional team of verification, design for test, physical design and software teams to streamline design processes, represent status of the methodology and implementation throughout the development process.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in silicon engineering.

  • Experience in design, multi power domains with clocking.
  • Experience with verilog or system verilog.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 18 years of experience in silicon engineering.
  • Experience with process cores, interconnects, debug and trace, security, interrupts, clocks/reset, power/voltage domains, and pin-mixing.
