We are searching for a talented senior C, C++ and Python software developer with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. As a member of the System Debugger Development team, you will be developing system debug tools that support the bring-up of firmware and OS kernels on Intel platforms. As part of a diverse team, you will be responsible for implementing and testing features of the system-level debugger. Our software is used to enable a wide range of Intel products, from the IoT/embedded segment up to enterprise servers. Qualifications:

Basic qualifications: - Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering - Solid C, C++ and Python skills (minimum 10 years of experience) - Excellent understanding of the Intel Architecture (IA32e) - Knowledge of ISAs beyond x86 (e.g. ARM, RISC-V) - Proven hands-on experience of at least 2 year in the development of modern PC firmware (e.g. UEFI BIOS) - Proven hand-on experience with system debug and trace technologies (JTAG, Intel Probe Mode) - Hands-on experience in silicon/platform bring-up - Proven track record in debugger development (minimum of two years) - Good understanding of operating system internals - Proven experience with git source code management - Proven experience in working with CMake, Jenkins and SDL tools (e.g. static analyzers) - Good English communication skills Preferred qualifications: - Experience with the Rust programming language - Proven track of open-source contributions

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
