AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting relationships with colocation providers, conducting business reviews, and ensuring operational excellence across our infrastructure partner ecosystem. You will serve as the key collaboration/coordination point for AWS internal teams and colocation vendors, supporting performance improvements, onboarding and dealing with complex operational challenges.

Key job responsibilities

We are responsible for Colocation Business Review programs and act as an escalation path to facilitate post-contract issue resolution between AWS internal customers and colocation vendors.
Key job responsibilities
  • Conduct assigned Colocation Business Reviews (CBR), Colocation Delivery Review Programs (CDRP) and new Colocation partner onboarding with vendors (and internal teams) according to predefined annual schedules
  • Evaluate Colocation Partner operational performance, delivery metrics, and relationship management.
  • Collaborate across AWS teams including Safety, Security, Operations, Engineering, and Business Development to help manage relationships with colocation providers
  • Serve as a key contact for AWS internal teams and colocation vendors for contractual inquiries, performance assessments and post contract issues.
  • Lead projects and initiatives that enhance experiences for internal customers and vendor partners while streamlining processes and reducing functional workload
  • Enable internal teams by facilitating issue resolution and continuous performance improvement with key infrastructure vendors
  • Track and report on vendor performance metrics, action items, and SLA compliance using Salesforce and other business intelligence tools
