About the Role
As an AI Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of cutting‑edge AI software solutions. This role offers hands‑on experience working with algorithms, frameworks, and AI architectures across domains such as computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers, gaining exposure to real‑world AI challenges and opportunities to develop practical, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and optimization of AI software, including algorithms, frameworks, and system‑level architectures.
- Assist in implementing, training, and tuning AI/ML models to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Participate in applied research, experimenting with new techniques and technologies to solve complex AI problems.
- Contribute to hardware–software integration efforts to enable efficient AI deployments.
- Collaborate with internal product teams and external partners in the creation and delivery of AI‑based solutions.
- Support system-level deployment of AI models to ensure scalability, reliability, and production readiness.
- Learn, grow, and apply new technical knowledge through hands‑on projects aligned with business objectives.
- Engage in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment while exploring future career opportunities in AI and software engineering.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical degree program.
- 6 months of experience in:
- Linux/Unix command line and bash scripting
- Containerization concepts (Docker preferred)
- AI/ML technologies and infrastructure
- Intermediate English level.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
- YAML syntax and configuration management
- Kubernetes concepts (pods, services, deployments)
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Technical Skills
- Programming: C++,Bash scripting, YAML, basic Python knowledge preferred
- Platforms: Kubernetes, Docker, Linux environments
- Tools: kubectl, container registries, monitoring tools
- Concepts: Containerization, orchestration, resource management, performance tuning
