As a part of Sanctions Operations, you will work with the team responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance, production, and development of eBay's screening program. The position will require the candidate to review alerts and member accounts to eliminate potential regulatory or financial risk. As a teammate, you will also review appeals and handle customer issues for Sanctions, PEP and SIP. You will need to take appropriate action to ensure a safe and compliant trading platform for our community. You will be expected to make decisions that are both quick and accurate.

Must be located in Texas or Utah
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform the required screening by validating and documenting the information on a member’s account, as required by the procedures.
- Review alerts by following a detailed SOP and by actioning the accounts accordingly using internal, external tools.
- Resolve eBay member appeals by reviewing appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Complete PEP, SIP escalations and drive for quick, accurate resolutions.
- Follow up with members to ensure information is received correctly and restrictions are removed in a timely manner.
- Conduct side-by-sides and peer reviews for teammates, as needed.
- Lead training sessions as required.
- Collaborate with team members and managers to provide input on policies and procedures and other initiatives.
- Communicate with internal and external partners as directed.
- Demonstrate a high degree of professional presence in both written and verbal communications.
- Balance the demands of multiple situations while consistently meeting SLA deadlines.
- Maintain high KPI performance, including productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of Sanctions experience or 2+ years of risk, fraud and/or compliance experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Solid organizational skills, attention to details.
- Excellent digital literacy including knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated to succeed in an agile environment.
- Works effectively and independently, against deadlines.
- An attitude to be a phenomenal teammate
- Remote/Hybrid Must be located in Austin and Salt Lake City

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$40,000 - $78,000Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
