We are looking for a creative, dynamic, and results-driven Sr. Program Manager to drive Sales Planning Program that will drive growth, scale, and excellence across Sales Planning motions. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who’s passionate about solving strategic and often ambiguous problems, supporting both internal and external customers, and leading cross-functional teams to run, execute, and administer key projects and processes. You will collaborate with multiple global teams to leverage existing mechanisms and create new ones to reach our goals. You will act as an advocate on behalf of the team to design and prioritize work with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will take projects from ideation through completion with appropriate urgency, respond quickly to to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop, review, approve, coordinate, and lead large, strategic projects / programs within AWS Sales Planning and across different geographies.
  • Build relationships and partner across many organizations to build and execute on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
  • Work and collaborate with stakeholders and partners to align on project /program goals and resources.
  • Coordinate a portfolio of programs / projects from inception to delivery. These may also be global in nature.
  • Define and implement metrics to measure and communicate Australian program achievements.
  • Compile, manage and report on weekly project metrics and be responsible for leading many high profile meetings to align on project requirements.
  • Communicate the overall program roadmap and provide periodic status updates to the stakeholders, and presenting programs / projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Provide programs decision support, insights and recommendations through data gathering and information analyzing.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
