Program Manager, Extended Workforce Solutions, Risk and Compliance
gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize outsourced operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. In this role, you will require expertise in third-party risk management. You will act as an executive member of the team to drive audits, remediation with key supplier points of contact. You will also help create minimum control requirements for suppliers against top Alphabet risk initiatives, then work with suppliers to ensure those control expectations are being met. You will both conduct audits of suppliers and manage third-parties who perform this service for Alphabet. Additionally, you will interact with executive supplier representatives on an ongoing basis to identify best practices, escalate non-compliance when necessary, and drive expected behavior.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of suppliers in conformance with Alphabet policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage third-party vendors who perform audit and testing work for Alphabet.
- Draft and monitor remediation plans, and warning letters to suppliers for violations to Alphabet policies. Set minimum control requirements against key risk domains for Suppliers.
- Participate in global supplier risk forums to obtain best practices and identify key risk areas.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications relevant to auditing, supplier management, internal audit, or third-party risk management (e.g., CIA, IIA, CA, CFE, CMA, CPA, CISA, CTPRP, C3PRMP, TPRA, etc.).
- 10 years of experience in a large global complex organization.
- Experience in an industry using on-permanent workers such as consultants, gig work, or contingent workforce.
- Experience with executive stakeholder management.
- Experience with consulting and change management.
