The COE is a newly established global finance organization composed to centralize, standardize, and scale core FP&A activities. By joining this team, you will play a pivotal role in improving decision-making processes and financial rigor across the organization.
About the team
The COE supports local FP&A teams and business units by providing centralized capabilities with deep expertise in month-end close activities, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis. Our professionals partner closely with FP&A to deliver outstanding OPEX accruals and forecasts, month-end close reporting, spend visibility, and trend insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete essential components of the monthly financial close, including accrual preparation, reconciliations, variance analysis, and expense reporting (SAP S/4HANA).
- Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc reporting activities across supported cost centers.
- Load, maintain, and validate forecasts and budgets in financial planning systems (Anaplan).
- Partner with FP&A teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of financial outputs.
- Analyze cost trends and drivers, clearly articulating variances and underlying assumptions.
- Work with Controllership to ensure compliance with US GAAP, financial controls, and audit requirements.
- Build and deliver standardized reporting and dashboards to improve transparency and scalability.
- Develop presentation content for Monthly Business Reviews of important data points and expense drivers.
- Find opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve FP&A processes.
- Support the transition of activities into the COE, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and stabilization.
- Contribute to the development of guidelines, playbooks, and standardized operating models.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant finance experience (FP&A, accounting, business analysis, or similar).
- Solid understanding of accrual-based accounting, forecasting, and budgeting concepts.
- Experience working with financial systems such as Anaplan, SAP, BW, or similar (preferred).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, evolving environment with ambiguity.
- Strong technical skills with spreadsheets and presentations, along with proven financial analysis capabilities.
- Ability to multi-task and manage timelines.
- Curiosity and a mentality for continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization.
