As a Senior Silicon Manufacturing Product Supply Specialist, you will build high-quality manufacturing infrastructure and use this to ramp silicon products to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). You will deliver products in a fabless semiconductor model using your knowledge of the full manufacturing flow, including all test insertions, DFT, package assembly, and silicon/package qualification. Your expertise will shape the next generation of custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's cloud hardware products.
In this role, you will be selecting and managing suppliers who provide wafer probe, assembly, and final test capabilities to manufacture Google Cloud SoCs. You will drive predictable silicon deliveries to the customer on schedule and at high quality by leveraging deep knowledge of high-performance compute and machine learning SoCs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers for wafer probe, assembly, and final test capabilities. Manage production relationships with foundries, Outsourced Assembly and Tests (OSATs), and turnkey chip suppliers. Manage SoC product operations covering NPI and across all manufacturing insertions.
- Collaborate across organizations to resolve supply bottlenecks using an understanding of OSAT operations and capacity loading.
- Drive cycle time optimizations, cost reduction, and yield improvement processes to meet customer schedules and quality needs. Drive ATE tools, SLT tools, probe cards, sockets, and OSAT-related tester and parts supplier delivery schedules to meet volume ramps.
- Build and deploy real-time product health and Work in Progress (WIP) tracking reporting infrastructure encompassing manufacturing performance metrics.
- Utilize AI/ML models and data analysis tools to identify trends impacting product delivery and apply these techniques to leverage trends from wafer acceptance testing and physical design.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, related degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in SoC manufacturing development and production ramp.
- Experience managing production relationships with foundry, OSATs, equipment, and turnkey chip suppliers.
- Experience working with semiconductor fabrication technologies, yield analysis, process lifecycle, and driving cost/quality initiatives in production.
- Experience in wafer probe card and ATE hardware development, and managing suppliers on the execution of test hardware bring-up at OSATs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, related degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience applying AI/ML techniques to leverage trends from wafer acceptance testing, physical design, and test yield data to drive process optimizations.
- Experience in foundry and OSAT operation management, including driving yield improvements and diagnosing/resolving equipment-related yield losses.
- Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical fundamentals to proactively identify quality or cost problems in the manufacturing flow.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated success managing complex vendor relationships.
