Strategy and Operations Lead, Global Partnerships
The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
In this role, you will partner closely with Partnerships Strategy and Operations leadership to support efficient business operations and execute on high-priority initiatives. You will be detail-oriented with a bias toward action, while maintaining a holistic mindset. You will demonstrate the ability to lead through ambiguity, the confidence to thoughtfully persuade and partner with executive leaders, and the skill to build cross-functional relationships across multiple levels of the organization. You will maintain a balance between operational efficiency and pragmatism to accomplish goals effectively.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive operational Partnerships Strategy and Operations organization through management of the global business operations including planning, and Objectives and Key Results (OKR) setting and tracking; manage business cadences, leadership agendas, and critical operations deliverables.
- Create programs and processes to solve business operations issues, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life.
- Create written communications and presentations with messages effectively tailored to different audience levels.
- Co-develop and successfully land cross-functional projects and initiatives, liaising across business development (BD), legal, finance, and more.
- Communicate actionable insights to executive leadership by preparing and delivering executive-ready materials.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a chief of staff team or a similar team, driving operational initiatives while working closely with executive leaders.
- Experience leading strategy work on ambiguous business problems.
- Ability to grow in an ambiguous and changing environment with limited direction, balance priorities, and manage several time-sensitive projects at once, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage projects and work with minimal guidance.
- Excellent at crafting and communicating insights from data, as well as attention to detail and an interest in metrics, understanding trends, and patterns in business performance.
