Software Engineer, Backend Infrastructure, Android Messages

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and develop features on the backend for Android Messages.
- Collaborate and work in partnership with multiple teams across Messages.
- Create and engage in a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Maintain servers and participate in oncall responsibilities.
- Develop and launch features that will be used by billions of users.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go.
- 2 years of relevant work experience in software development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures, and their time and space performance.
