Job Description: 

You will join a diverse team of junior and experienced engineers managing metrology tools and processes in a dynamic semiconductor environment, while serving as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external customers, and field service engineers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • You will drive day-to-day operational excellence by ensuring optimal team coverage, meeting established KPIs, and implementing efficiency enhancement initiatives, while simultaneously leading long-term strategic projects including customer collaborations, tool installations, and internal improvements with systematic follow-up protocols.

  • Your role encompasses maintaining rigorous standards for data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation, staying current with emerging scientific developments in metrology, contributing to technology roadmaps and capacity planning, and collaborating cross-functionally to strategically position both your team and the fabrication facility for future technological challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of industry/semiconductor metrology experience

  • -OR- Master's Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of industry/semiconductor metrology experience

  • -OR- PhD Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ years of industry/semiconductor metrology experience

Industry/semiconductor metrology experience must include:

  • Hands on experience with one of the Metrology Dimensional Tools including ellipsometry, X-ray metrology, Optical/WLI thin film measurement, and AFM


Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrate solid technical expertise in in-line process metrology or closely related fields

• Show proficiency with metrology technologies including ellipsometry, X-ray metrology, Optical/WLI thin film measurement, and AFM

• Hands-on experience with these measurement techniques

Industry Acumen: Understand the critical technical challenges facing semiconductor technology and the demanding environment of semiconductor fabrication facilities

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $133,800.00-255,200.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
