As a Product Management Lead, you will help shape the future of Cloud SQL. You will drive strategy and execution of key areas of Cloud SQL for SQL Server, enable customers to be successful with the service, and drive GTM activities to drive business growth and increased adoption.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for multiple teams.
  • Own and define project roadmaps.
  • Drive development and secure buy-in for a product goal that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
  • Build an understanding of database technologies, market trends, and customer requirements, then use product insights to drive product strategy. Interact with customers and partners to understand their key requirements and help define a multi-year product roadmap.
  • Drive innovation in managed SQL Server, lead product development of innovative capabilities, collaborating closely with engineering, user experience design, finance, product operations, marketing, and field teams.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
