About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic Second-Line Sales Manager to lead 3 first-line Sales Managers (Customer Growth) and their teams (18-24 Account Managers total) in our EMEA Commercial organization. You will drive regional expansion strategy, develop management talent, and ensure consistent execution across multiple teams.
What You'll Do:
Leadership:
Lead 3 first-line Sales Managers and 18-24 Account Managers
Drive regional expansion ARR targets ($15-20M annually)
Achieve regional NRR of 130%+ consistently
Build high-performing, scalable customer growth organization
Manager Development:
Coach and develop first-line managers on leadership, coaching, and strategy
Conduct weekly 1-on-1s with direct reports
Build management bench strength and succession planning
Promote and develop future leaders
Strategic Execution:
Translate regional strategy into team execution
Drive key initiatives and programs across teams
Ensure consistency in processes, methodologies, and standards
Optimize territory design and account distribution
Performance & Forecasting:
Monitor team performance across all key metrics (NRR, expansion, churn, CSAT)
Provide accurate regional forecasts to executive leadership
Identify and address performance gaps quickly
Drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, Product, and Marketing leadership
Represent customer voice in strategic planning
Drive customer advocacy and reference programs
Escalate and resolve complex customer issues
Recruitment & Talent:
Build hiring strategy for managers and individual contributors
Approve all hiring decisions within organization
Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives
Manage compensation and promotion decisions
What You'll Need:
5+ years of sales or customer success management experience
3+ years managing managers (second-line or above)
Track record of leading organizations to exceed targets (100%+ attainment)
Proven ability to develop and promote management talent
Strategic thinking and execution excellence
Strong business acumen and executive presence
Salesforce and analytics proficiency
Fluency in English; additional European languages preferred

Cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS leadership experience
Experience managing multi-country EMEA teams
Track record of scaling organizations (2x-3x growth)
Executive-level customer relationship management
P&L or budget management experience
