About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - New Business to lead a team of 6-8 hunter Account Executives (mixed Comm 1 and Comm 2) in our EMEA Commercial organization. You will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition, developing top sales talent, and building a high-performing hunter culture.
What You'll Do:
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-8 hunter Account Executives
Drive team to exceed new logo ARR targets ($4-6M annually)
Achieve team quota attainment of 100%+ consistently
Maintain team retention rate of 85%+
Coaching & Development:
Conduct weekly 1-on-1 coaching sessions with each team member
Conduct regular team meetings that inspire, excite and energise the team
Provide real-time coaching on calls, demos, and negotiations
Develop individualised performance improvement plans
Build prospecting excellence and hunter methodology expertise
Promote top performers and develop future leaders
Pipeline & Forecast Management:
Lead weekly pipeline reviews and forecast calls
Ensure team maintains 3x+ pipeline coverage
Provide accurate weekly/monthly forecasts to leadership
Monitor deal progression and remove blockers
Performance Management:
Set clear expectations and hold team accountable
Address underperformance quickly and effectively
Recognize and reward top performers
Manage performance improvement plans when necessary
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Hire top hunter talent to fill team vacancies
Execute comprehensive 30/60/90 day onboarding
Ensure new hires ramp to productivity within 90 days
Strategic Execution:
Execute regional sales strategy and initiatives
Collaborate with Marketing, Channel, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success
Represent team in leadership meetings
Drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing
What You'll Need:
2-4 years of sales management experience leading hunter/new business teams
3-5 years of individual contributor sales experience with proven quota overachievement
Track record of developing top-performing sales teams (80%+ quota attainment)
Experience managing 6-10 direct reports
Strong coaching and performance management skills
Expertise in prospecting methodologies and hunter sales motions
Salesforce and sales analytics proficiency
Fluency in English; additional European language preferred
Bouns Points:
Cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise SaaS management experience
MEDDPICC or similar methodology certification
Experience managing remote/distributed teams
Track record of promoting team members
Previous experience as top-performing individual contributor
