Staff Software Engineer, Confidential Computing

Responsibilities
- Define strategy and collaborate with the group around a shared goal.
- Design, develop and maintain software components to support confidential computing use-cases for Google Cloud Security.
- Own the quality of the work by writing extensive unit and integration tests.
- Contribute towards building technical capabilities in the India team by mentoring or coaching other team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality software deliverables.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with technical leadership in software development.
- Experience in leading through technical and organizational tests.
- Experience in collaborating within distributed engineering organizations.
- Experience with developing virtualization or operating system security.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in platform security.
- Experience with Linux, operating systems internals, Virtual Machine Extensions (VMX), Kernel development, drivers.
- Experience with system programming or kernel development.
