Infrastructure Materials Manager
Description
Meta is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Materials Manager to support the service of our physical infrastructure. The team is responsible for logistics support and material management for various technical teams that operate physical infrastructure. The Infrastructure Materials Manager would lead and manage NPI Spares operations, engage & influence various internal stakeholders and vendors, coordinate NPI execution activities, enable automated processes & tooling to ensure material availability. This position is for operation professionals who can operate complex programs with accelerated timelines, maintain engagement with multiple stakeholders, envision the future systems & processes, and lead cross-functional efforts to support ever changing and growing customer needs.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) spare operations to ensure service readiness and material availability Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand current and future program needs, ensuring timely product launches Act as the primary liaison between ODM and Meta teams, managing and driving NPI Spare material requirements Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on New Product Introduction (NPI) to infrastructure operations Drive and support spare requirements and supply chain readiness for new platforms/product Introduction (NPI) projects Manage spare transition for new products from Hack, Engineering Verification Testing, Design Verification Testing phase to Mass Production Work cross-functionally to manage and improve product Bill of Materials, NPI process for effective Operations Shape service models for upcoming NPI programs/platforms. Collaborate with Cross functional partner teams and Vendors on service and support contracts Develop and implement Operations NPI Program Management tools and KPI Metrics to keep the efforts of Operations integrated and on schedule Work cross-functionally with related teams to resolve sourcing, quality, and production challenges Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and sourcing partners on both tactical and strategic initiatives Utilize extensive knowledge of systems and tools to identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to future system development
Qualifications
BS degree in engineering, science, or business, or related work experience 6+ years of experience in new product Introduction/supply chain planning/procurement/manufacturing Subject matter experience in NPI, inventory management, BOM Management and service operations Working knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management and Supply Chain planning tools Experience in program management, vendor and stakeholder management Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, suppliers and leadership Advanced user of Excel, VBA, or similar data visualization tools is required Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and requirement elicitation Experience working in cross-functional projects across multiple teams Graduate degree in management, operations, or supply chain 6+ years of Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, quantitative modeling, or related experience Experience in New Product Introduction and Supply Chain operations in a global high growth environment APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Compensation: $115,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
