What you’ll achieve

Unit Production Plan (UPP) team is in charge of demand planning based on pipeline, product roadmap, historical, demand/supply events, large deals, transition, pricing, promotion and ultimately guide Supply Chain & Procurement in creating an accurate demand signal to support customer’s needs and make the Right Commitment.

As APJC/EMEA UPP Commodity Planner, you will closely work other RevOps functions (PLM, FPM, Pricing, Program), Supply Chain Management, Sales (Core Sales, Technical Sales), Finance, GBO, GPP and many internal partners to get alignments and drive ISG business. Your work include:


o   Lead ISG key commodity planning based on UPP to deliver a highly accurate demand signal to enable supportability to drive business growth and meet financial target

o   Engage at a cross-organizational level to align market, capability, and strategies into a single demand plan and continuously improve forecast accuracy

o   Perform market analytics & apply statistical modelling to highlight future risks, events and trends for products & sales

o   Utilize knowledge of all product lines within a segment to manage product volume & lifecycle assumptions with zero E&O

o   Work with marketing to translate campaign & lead generation program expectations to demand predictions & changes

o   Provide input into corporate finance and sales leaders to guide financial planning in the 6-12 month timeframe

o   Manage supply escalation and prioritization to maximize business impact in supply constraint situation


Essential Requirements

o   Resilient, perform well under pressure

o   Be flexible and adapt to changing schedules and workload demands

o   15+ year experience in the business with experience to work with Sales, PLM, FPM, SCM etc.

o   Strong business acumen

o   Solid capacity to lead cross-functional discussions and alignment

o   Excellent analytical and business modelling skills

o   Strong understanding of storage/server/network market trends, dynamics and competitors

o   Able to influence decisions at all senior management levels.

o   Master degree and above in Science or Technology

o   Capable to manage and sync both Macro business big picture and Micro platform / parts level details
