Job Description: 

Intel's Neuromorphic Computing Lab is at the forefront of transforming brain-inspired architectures into real-world products, powering the next era of physical AI systems. With a global ecosystem of 250+ research partners and a legacy of pioneering the Loihi series of neuromorphic chips, Intel is now focused on commercializing these breakthroughs for broad market impact. As Business Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of neuromorphic computing by connecting customer needs to product innovation and driving ecosystem growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage early customers and research partners across industry, academia, and government.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer use cases, pain points, and requirements for neuromorphic products.
  • Build and maintain a robust ecosystem of early adopters, collaborators, and technology partners.
  • Collect, synthesize, and prioritize customer and partner requirements for product development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate market needs into actionable product features.
  • Lead product marketing initiatives, including messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and differentiation opportunities.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the technology.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, or ecosystem management in high-tech or AI sectors.
  • 4+ years of experience in edge/embedded computing systems, AI hardware/software, or advanced semiconductor technologies.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with research-driven product development and requirements gathering.
  • Prior experience working with academic and government partners.
  • Ability to synthesize technical and market information into actionable business strategies
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Proven track record of building and managing customer/partner ecosystems for emerging technologies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with market analysis, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $158,200.00-264,460.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Work Model for this Role
