Global Operations (GO) Systems is a horizontal team serving GO accountable for delivery of systems and tooling strategies. GO Systems combines expertise in our products with operational, analytical, and technical skills to design and manage scalable processes. This work is enabled by a team of Systems Program Managers accountable for delivery across one of the following categories of jobs to be done: workflow design and management, workflow execution (production), and implementing tooling changes into Operations.
Responsibilities
Systems Program Managers within GO Systems contribute to advancing GO’s tooling strategies across three categories of jobs to be done: Workflow Design and Management: GO Systems is responsible for defining, building, and maintaining repeatable, sustainable processes that support GO’s tooling ecosystem (e.g., roadmapping, bug management, vendor insights) Workflow Execution / Production: GO Systems executes its internal workflows utilizing a combination of FTE and Vendor resources Implementing Tooling Changes into Operations: GO Systems facilitates significant tooling changes within GO’s ecosystem, with support including scope and design of technical solutions, project / program management, acceptance and experimental testing, training users on new tooling solutions, and providing opinion as GO’s tooling subject matter experts Systems Program Managers meet these responsibilities by exercising the following foundational skillsets: Program Management: A primary job to be done for GO Systems is implementing tooling changes into operations. Awareness and experience with program and project management best practices is essential to delivering technically sound solutions at scale for Operations Cross-Functional Partner Engagement: GO Systems serves an important role in balancing the business needs of Operations with the priorities of Meta’s various product teams. Systems Program Managers are regularly called upon to problem solve, prioritize, and inform business decisions happening in both Product and Operations Owning a program charter for AI transformation, ensuring rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment of AI-driven solutions that address current and emerging business needs Identifying, scoping, and prioritizing high-impact opportunities for automation and AI enablement across Operations teams, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term strategic goals Establishing and tracking success metrics for transformation programs, using data-driven insights to measure adoption, efficiency gains, and business impact Serving as a subject matter expert and thought leader on AI and workforce transformation, providing guidance on best practices, risk management, and feasibility considerations Fostering innovation and continuous improvement by piloting new technologies, gathering feedback, and iterating on solutions to maximize value for GO
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience 12+ years of experience with end-to-end project management in a product, technical, and/or operations environment Experience in AI/GenAI/LLMs, machine learning, or related fields Experience initiating and driving multiple projects simultaneously with minimal to no guidance Experience with systems and tools used by and in support of Operations teams Experience partnering with technical teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Data Science) Demonstrated experience of resourcefulness and adaptability in problem-solving, and experience analyzing and leveraging data to understand patterns and provide client insights Documentation: demonstrated experience in creating reference documents and communicating them with stakeholders Communication: Effective communication across different mediums, stakeholder groups, levels, and settings Intermediate level SQL/noSQL or comparable data language experience Experience working with executive stakeholders at mid-large scale tech organizations People management experience Experience working at the nexus of product (engineering) and operations (integrity, support, or other operations functions) Experience in hands-on technical side of tooling (e.g., completing configurations, investigating tooling bugs, and conducting testing)
Compensation: $152,000/year to $214,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
