The Meta SuperIntelligence Lab is dedicated to developing AI-powered experiences for consumers, leveraging Meta's cutting-edge models. We are looking for a Research Data Program Manager to lead end-to-end human data annotation programs that support ML research and model development. This role partners closely with Researchers, Product, Engineering, Data operations, and external data vendors to translate research needs into high-quality datasets. Successful candidates will be technically fluent, highly organized, and experienced in building scalable processes to build high quality datasets. You will be the connective tissue across research pods driving consistent standards across annotation efforts.

Responsibilities

Program manage and execute end-to-end annotation lifecycle Partner with researcher and product teams to define data needs, create detailed instructions and define quality metrics Collaborate with our partner teams on vendor selection Work with partner teams to implement and monitor data quality Build processes, structured programs and make recommendations on tooling Build dashboards, analyze data and share insights

Qualifications

5+ years of program management or relevant experience in data operations, ML/data labeling or research operations Demonstrated experience working directly with technical stakeholders (ML Researchers/Engineers/Product) and translating needs into execution-ready requirements Experience managing external partners/vendors, including Statements of Work, agreed timelines and deliverables throughput planning, and performance management Effective communication skills, including producing clear data specifications, quality assurance guidelines, and stakeholder updates Experience managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives while operating under ambiguity and driving outcomes Familiarity with data types and workflows such as SFT, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback/Reinforcement Learning from Virtual Rewards (RLHF/RFVR), evaluations, multimodal, coding, reasoning, and safety/alignment labeling Experience building or running quality programs Experience with annotation tooling and workflow systems Exposure to ML, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Multimodal research environments Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis 8+ years of program management experience at a technology company Bachelor's degree

Compensation: $160,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
