re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a talented, driven, and analytically focused Senior Business Analyst in support of our Reverse Logistics (RL) program. In this role, you will own the end-to-end business intelligence roadmap, defining the vision for metrics, reporting infrastructure, and automated analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across our sustainability and recovery initiatives. You will be the subject matter expert and thought leader for RL analytics, influencing senior leadership and driving strategic priorities through compelling data narratives.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will operate with significant autonomy to identify high-impact opportunities, define problem spaces in ambiguous environments, and deliver scalable solutions that shape the direction of our global network. You will partner directly with Managers and Directors across Operations, Commercial, Program Management, and Finance to align analytics capabilities with long-term business objectives. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution while mentoring and elevating the analytical capabilities of the broader team.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own and define the analytics strategy for the Reverse Logistics organization, establishing the vision, roadmap, and priorities for metrics, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions across the global network.
  • Drive strategic decision-making by translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership (Director/VP level)
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Operations, Commercial, Program Management, and Finance, serving as the central analytics partner to align stakeholders on business needs, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Architect and implement scalable data solutions, including automated pipelines, self-service reporting tools, and advanced analytics capabilities that reduce manual effort and enable real-time decision-making.
  • Establish and own governance frameworks for data quality, metric definitions, and reporting standards across the RL organization, ensuring consistency and accuracy in global performance measurement.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities in ambiguous problem spaces, scoping analytical approaches and driving end-to-end delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Mentor and develop junior analysts and business partners, raising the analytical bar across the organization through coaching and best practice sharing.
  • Partner with technical teams (Engineering, Data Science) to influence tool development, data architecture decisions, and long-term platform investments.
  • Drive continuous improvement by establishing feedback loops, identifying process inefficiencies, and implementing mechanisms that enhance operational performance and accountability across the supply chain.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years of developing automated reporting experience
  • 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • 7+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience, or a MBA and 4+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 4+ years of Amazon experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience in data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain or logistics, or 9+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
