Business Analyst, Google Marketing Platform, Large Customer Sales

As one of the masterminds behind our strategic planning, forecasting and analysis, you’ll spend your time digging into big, complex data sets. The data will not remain inert in your hands, however, since you’ll use your critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to influence and drive thoughtful and well-informed decision making with our most senior business leaders within the organization, and potentially some of our biggest clients.
The Google Marketing Platform (GMP) team is dedicated to empowering enterprise customers and agencies drive transformational business outcomes through Google's advanced Ad technology stack, including Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager 360, and Google Analytics 360.
In this role, you will work to establish GMP as the industry's stack of choice by unifying data, reach, and measurement capabilities. You will function through a matrix of sector-specific direct sales teams and dedicated Agency Holding Company (HoldCo) partnerships to drive new acquisitions, secure renewals, and expand full-stack adoption.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks, directly informing the sales strategy for large, cross-functional teams.
- Provide ongoing investigative support to sellers including forecasting, business reporting, and historical data pulls in order to provide insights into trends to drive business.
- Act as the bridge between Sales, GTM, and Finance to ensure data integrity and consistent performance measurement.
- Create Ad hoc presentations and dashboards to educate business stakeholders and support sales objectives.
- Move beyond Ad-hoc data pulls by building automated dashboards (using SQL/Looker/appscript) and self-service tools that empower stakeholders to access real-time insights.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
- Experience with SQL.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in financial analysis, data mining, utilizing SQL and scripting to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive sales strategy.
- Experience designing innovative dashboards and presentations to educate stakeholders and support high-level decision-making.
- Ability to partner with large, cross-functional sales teams to optimize business forecasting, historical trend analysis, and business performance reporting.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fluid environment, advocating data-driven ideas and managing complex investigative projects from conception to execution.
- Ability to bridge the gap between Sales, GTM, and Finance, ensuring end-to-end reporting accuracy and alignment on strategic business objectives.
