Position
Amazon is looking for an experienced Sr Systems Developer for RDS Storage team. As part of the team, you will be given the chance to have a significant impact on our storage layer, our business and most importantly our customers.

You will be responsible for the storage layer of the Amazon RDS software stack, managing the block I/O and file system development.

- Scope, plan, and deliver complex technical projects end-to-end
- Collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams
- Mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices
- Successful product delivery with focus on quality, performance, and reliability

Basic Qualifications
- Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Solid understanding of hardware-software interfaces, TCP/IP networking, File Systems, Block Devices and distributed systems. Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design, and complexity analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
