This role sits at the nexus of Generative AI models, user-centric product design, and the engineering issue of building a vibrant content ecosystem. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will not just be maintaining code; you will be architecting the new frontend framework, defining best practices for the migration to Modern Angular, and shipping large updates to end-users on a weekly cadence.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code in TypeScript and Modern Angular (Signals) to build novel Generative AI features for image and video creation.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies, specifically focusing on frontend architecture and component reusability.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency) within a shared repository.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates, user feedback, and rapid prototyping cycles.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, GenAI model integration, or service operations and quality.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, or Java), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development, specifically with Angular and modern web frameworks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience in "0-to-1" project environments, rapid prototyping, or navigating ambiguity to ship product updates on a changing schedule.
- Experience with Generative AI models, video/media editing tools, or creative software.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
