Program Manager, Business Engagement

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage projects and utilize project trackers to oversee timelines and deliverables. Ensure all workstreams have clear owners and that progress is monitored against milestones, reconciling competing priorities as needed.
- Develop compelling communication materials (slides, docs) to engage leaders within REWS and across Product Areas. Facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas and actionable follow-ups to build consensus and drive cross-functional decision-making.
- Lead changes management efforts to drive program adoption and organizational readiness. Leverage data and analytics to report on progress, outcomes, and deliverables, while conducting post-mortems to capture lessons learned.
- Bring order to ambiguity by defining problems and crafting custom solutions. Proactively identify cross-organizational opportunity areas, refine processes, and contribute to the development of program management best practices
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management or a related operational role.
- Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities in a changing environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding how to use and interpret analytics to drive program outcomes.
- Ability to serve as a domain expert, balancing the needs of the business with optimal process application.
- Ability to lead operational initiatives with delivery against milestones.
- Excellent organizational skills for both individual work and holistic project management.
- Excellent capability in creating compelling presentations and documents with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to drive program management by tracking progress, facilitating meetings, and managing action items while solving cross-functional issues across large stakeholder groups.
