Senior Software Engineer, genUI

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define an open standard genUI protocol - A2UI - and evolve it with new genAI capabilities of new models.
- Build and maintain Google's open-source genUI SDK that provides a toolkit for developers to supercharge their apps with genUI.
- Optimize the genUI pipeline for latency, accuracy, and low error rates.
- Build a full-stack genUI solution spanning client and server.
- Build a first-party genUI solution for internal Google teams to add genUI capabilities to their apps.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with debugging/troubleshooting.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Experience with JavaScript.
- Experience with systems engineering.
