Amazon Web Services is seeking a results-driven Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Industry Marketing Manager to design and execute high-impact ABM programs for enterprise customers within the Department of War business and deliver the industry’s largest activations and programs. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive measurable business outcomes through targeted marketing initiatives.

The Account-Based Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end execution of territory ABM programs, working backwards from customer needs to create data-driven, multi-channel campaigns, events, and executive programs that accelerate pipeline and revenue growth. This role requires project management skills and experience, analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
  • Deliver the largest Industry activations, executive programs, and scaling programs
  • Design and execute territory-specific ABM campaigns (1:1, 1:few) that align with global frameworks and drive measurable business impact
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with sales teams to understand account priorities and translate them into effective marketing programs
  • Analyze customer data, buying signals, and market trends to inform campaign strategy and optimization
  • Create and implement multi-channel programs (events, digital, direct) that deliver personalized customer experiences
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to ensure ABM programs complement broader field marketing efforts
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, documentation, and best practices
  • Track and report on program performance, using data to optimize and scale successful approaches
  • Manage program budgets effectively, demonstrating frugality while maximizing impact
  • Collaborate with global ABM community to share learnings and adopt proven practices
A day in the life
AWS Industry Marketing is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing enterprise-level customers including public sector customers in the defense and national security sectors of the US government. The Industry Marketing ABM team focuses on building and executing the most effective, tailored and integrated plans for priority 1:1 customers and clusters of customers via 1:Few. The Sr DoW ABM Marketer will partner with Sales and other enabling teams to research key customers, develop go-to-market plans, and execute those events and engagements that help drive revenue. This role will interact with Sales teams focused on the US Department of War and Intelligence Community, Global Defense Industrial Base Partners, and product and service teams developing innovative solutions for defense.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
  • Experience with government procurement and contracting process
  • Experience in the defense or national security industry

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
