Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and client-focused Executive Assistant to support the VP of Amazon's Security Services. This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams. You will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and a good sense of humor.

You must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. You must also be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities
  • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars.
  • Orchestrate complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments across time zones according to their importance, urgency, and relevance and ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication channels and managing sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Execute end-to-end travel logistics for international and domestic trips, including complex multi-city itineraries, client-facing events, and team visits across corporate offices.
  • Lead the planning of events including staff meetings, all-hands meetings, executive offsites, team-building activities, supply ordering.
  • Collaborate with the EA Community across AWS to drive best practices, implement solutions, and drive organizational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for critical deliverables, ensuring on-time completion of executive and team commitments and providing regular status updates to key stakeholders.

About the team
AWS Security Services (S2) is redefining how enterprises are protecting their cloud-based applications, services, and data. We are innovating in security with services like Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie, Amazon Detective, Amazon Security Lake, and AWS Security Hub. S2 builds and operates security services that today, are targeted primarily at security professionals, most
commonly within central security teams. Our services identify and provide guidance into threats and
vulnerabilities, which in combination represent security risks for customers. We identify these risks
across an organization and provide the details and actionable guidance to help customers mitigate
issues before they become business impacting events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • 5+ years of senior level leadership support experience
  • Experience with executive level calendar management
  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
