Strategy and Operations Lead, Google Cloud (English, Korean)

Based in Seoul, the Strategy & Operations Lead role is a critical member of the Asia Pacific Strategy and Operations team. In this role, you will be a thought and execution partner for our Korea Cloud Sales Leadership, think strategically and help drive best global practices into Korea. You will help scale up our successful business in the region by helping Google define and execute strategic and operational initiatives that contribute to the company's growth and drive operational excellence. You'll be confident working independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving global executive environment.

Responsibilities
- Identify, structure, and lead key strategic initiatives and business programs (e.g., strategic planning, business scaling, growth programs, quota setting, and performance improvement programs).
- Provide thought leadership to the Cloud Sales Leadership and cross-functional leaders, and jointly with them, develop the market’s business plan and go-to-market sales strategy, and gain the required support to execute programs.
- Analyze and develop deep insights on business performance, core performance metrics, and support in preparation of weekly/monthly business reviews for the sales teams and cross-functional teams.
- Drive operational excellence - revenue, opportunity and health and performance metrics, across our rapidly growing Cloud teams in-market.
- Align with cross-functional partners including Finance, HR, Partner, Specialization, Customer Engineering, and GTM Practice to drive a cohesive business motion in Korea and share best practices with other regional/global Google Strategy and Operations (S&O) teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in management consulting or in strategy/sales
operations roles in an enterprise software firm or other sales management capacity. - Experience in operational execution in tech GTM/Sales organizations.
- Experience with working in enterprise software or cloud sales.
- Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently in order to interact with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading large programs or consulting projects in an enterprise space.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast paced environment, with limited direction, balance competing priorities, and manage several time-sensitive projects at once.
- Strong ability to project manage and work independently, comfortable crafting and communicating insights from data.
- Distinctive strategic, problem solving, analytical, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an affinity for metrics and understanding trends and patterns in business performance.
- Track record of influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
