As a Data Center Services (DCS) Metro Manager, you will oversee the delivery and scalability of data center capacity within a specific metropolitan area. This role involves managing multiple data center sites or campuses within that metro.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the execution and delivery of construction projects within their assigned metro, ensuring projects stay on track with funding and execution.
  • Lead and develop metro DCS teams, including direct reports and cross-functional teams, to deliver data center capacity. They are responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Contribute to strategic approaches for funding and execution at speed and scale, and works to remove roadblocks in the funding and approval processes.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, such as Data Center Operations (DCOps), to understand their needs and align on expectations for planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Manage multiple campuses and also lead the turn-up of new Main Distribution Areas (MDAs).

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • 5 years of experience in driving cross-functional teams toward common project goals and developing creative solutions that minimize impact on project timelines and costs.

  • 5 years of experience managing direct reports, external contractors/vendors.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 8 years of experience with equipment/environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems).
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and a strong understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design-build processes.
  • Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Ability to gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and achieve objectives within defined goals.
